It follows Southern Bookcrafts Club President and master binder, Nick Cowlishaw who has dedicated his life to preserving the written word and records of ancestors by book binding the lost treasures and sentimental inheritances of thousands of people over the span of his career.

Upper Ashe Bindery

Four paperback books rebound. Two in bookcloth, one quarter bound in leather, and the other full leather. The photograph album, in bookcloth, with every page individually sown. The secret boxes were made as a result of one of the Southern Bookcrafts Club training days.

Contemporary notebook

This notebook was a bit of an experiment to create a more contemporary front cover than the ones taught on the beginners course – and also to use some newly acquired 2mm knitting needles that help produce a sharper crease/hinge alongside the spine.
